Mr. Vehorn grew up in Botkins Ohio on a small farm in which
his Dad and Mom still own and operate.
On this farm they raise cattle and 120 acres of corn, soybeans, wheat
and hay. Mr. Vehorn graduated from
high school in 1996. While in high
school at Botkins High School he participated on the Basketball and Baseball
teams and was very involved in his local FFA program by being very active with
all of the chapter’s activities and also by becoming the Sentinel and Vice
President of the program. He was
also very involved with the local 4-H program for ten (10) years showing steers
and pigs. He also became a
member of the Junior Fairboard of Auglaize County for three years while he
participated in 4-H.
After graduation from high school he attended The Ohio State
University to pursue his Agricultural Education Degree. While at OSU, Mr. Vehorn was active in
the Ag. Ed. Society and also was involved in officiating intramural sports. Mr. Vehorn earned his degree from The
Ohio State University in 2001.
Mr. Vehorn started at Tecumseh High School in 2001 and
enjoys spending time with family and friends and also enjoys golfing and
playing softball in his free time.
