Tecumseh is a progressive school district which strives to meet the needs of all learners. We are fortunate to have a talented, dedicated staff on hand who focus on student achievement and student well-being. Our goal is to ensure each student graduates from Tecumseh Local having the knowledge and skills needed to become productive citizens.
The community has provided our students with great facilities in which to learn. The district is comprised of six school buildings. Each building is a result of the community’s support of an Ohio School Commission building project in 2003.
Medway Elementary houses the preschool and Head Start programs which serve children from our district. Park Layne Elementary is the school of attendance for our kindergarten and 1st grade students. Students in 2nd and 3rd grade attend Donnelsville Elementary and our 4th and 5th grade students attend New Carlisle Elementary.
Tecumseh Middle School services our 6th, 7th, and 8th grade students. Students in grades 9th -12th attend Tecumseh High School. These two schools share the same campus.
Student achievement and student well-being are the reason why we are here. Our students benefit from a solid relationship between educator and parents. We encourage you to visit our schools regularly, attend our events and work together with us to provide our students the best education possible.
