Learning For All, Whatever It Takes

Financial Aid

Be aware of priority deadlines for Ohio colleges and universities! The priority deadline is the school's deadline for maximum consideration for all types of financial aid that is available. Students who meet the deadline are considered for all forms of financial aid available for someone with their EFC. Students who do not meet the deadline are considered for limited forms of financial aid.

The Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) is currently available online at https://fafsa.ed.gov

Make sure you have your FSA ID to fill out the FAFSA. Visit https://fsaid.ed.gov for more information and details.

(The FSA ID has replaced the PIN.)

For the FSA ID, the parent and student need to use two different emails. Both must have a personal email to register for the ID. It is best to use a home email, rather than a school or work email since you need to be able to access it for the next few years. When you request your FSA ID, it may take 1-3 days to receive the information.

For more information, visit the Federal Student Aid website at https://studentaid.ed.gov/sa/about/announcements/fafsa-changes and http://www.fafsahelpoh.org/

Some additional websites that might be helpful if you have questions about financial aid or the FAFSA.
