Mrs. Perkins received her degrees in Education and in English from The Ohio State University in 1990. Since that time she has been happily teaching English classes in a number of places. She taught at what used to be Springfield North High School from 1991-1998 and then taught GED courses for a number of years while her children were small. In 2006 she began teaching middle school English for an online academy, but always missed the classroom. When she was given the opportunity to get back into the classroom in 2014 she was thrilled. She has been teaching at Tecumseh High School for two years and she loves it! Mrs. Perkins has been married to her husband Mark since 1991, and they have two sons. Gabriel, and Cody. When Mrs. Perkins is not teaching she can be found attending some sort of sporting event, camping with her family or fishing on Lake Erie.
