New Carlisle Elementary Enjoys Great Start to Year

New Carlisle Elementary welcomed new staff to our team at New Carlisle Elementary! Some are new to New Carlisle and TLS, while others have changed positions within our building or district.  We are glad to have them all at NCES, and we hope they are ready to make positive changes with our students!

Students and staff enjoyed the eclipse Monday, August 21. The students watched the events on the NASA website in their classroom, and the teachers also used other sites to help explain the eclipse to their students. Some of the staff shared their protective glasses so others could experience the eclipse outside. It was a learning day for all.

New Carlisle’s Open House was a success. We had a lot of our families in attendance. The students were excited to bring their supplies, meet their teachers and start the new year. The teachers and staff were here to help everyone with the new online registration system and to share transportation information. The custodians had the buildings looking great! We are thrilled to start a new year.

Our new PTO donated walking track is being used often by students and staff. Thank you to the PTO for donating the funds to make this happen for our building and community. We hope to use it often during the year.
