The Tecumseh Local Junior Optimist Club and the Family Youth and Initiatives’ DEFY Club members are spearheading a drive to collect 5,000 cases of water for the victims of Hurricane Harvey in Houston, Texas.

The Tecumseh Local School District is inviting the entire community to participate in this drive for the hurricane victims.

Cases of water may be dropped off at any Tecumseh Local School building or the firehouses in Donnelsville, Medway or New Carlisle until October 10th. (Only cases please, no single bottles or gallon jugs because they won’t stack.)

Bob Holder, of R.D. Holder Oil Company has graciously donated a semi-truck and driver to deliver the water to Houston on October 14th.

We hope that through this effort, our community will be able to demonstrate our support for our friends in Houston and that we can share the Tecumseh Community spirit and support with Texas!
