A Medical Response Team was recently organized and the members were trained in October. A small group of staff members from each building received in-depth first aid training by American Red Cross personnel.
A Medical Response Team was recently organized and the members were trained in October. A small group of staff members from each building received in-depth first aid training by American Red Cross personnel.
It was determined a Medical Response Team would be a proactive measure to assist in potential future emergency medical situations. At each building, a team is now available to respond to medical incidents that may arise throughout the school day. The team is not intended to replace our school nurses, rather to respond to medical incidents until the school nurse, or other trained medical personnel, are able to arrive on site.
