Calculus is a 36 week math course for grade 12, and is worth 1 credit. Calculus is a course for the student who has completed precalculus but does not have a strong enough math background for the rigorous concept development of AP Calculus. This course will develop and apply the concepts of limit, derivative, definite integral and antiderivative as used in many non-science disciplines at the college level.
A graphing calculator, paper, and a pencil will be required, and you will be given a textbook. A TI-83 or TI-84 calculator model will be used in all demonstrations.
