This course will provide the student an overview of environmental issues and provide the opportunity to become an informed citizen. In addition to classroom work, students will have laboratory experiences, library research, and computer based projects. Topics covered will include ecosystems, human population, land use, food production, air and water pollution, climate, biodiversity, environmental law and environmental world wide view and philosophy.
