Learning For All ~ Whatever It Takes!

Thank you to all of our families who completed our Parent/Family Remote Learning Surveys. We had over 1600 responses to the two surveys and were able to gather a lot of information in regards to parent preferences. We have taken those results and through discussions with the county health commissioner, our teachers and administrative staff, we have decided that at this time, we are moving forward with a plan to return our students to school in August full time every day. Parents may instead choose to enroll their child in Tecumseh’s new online learning program that we are beginning to plan.

Please understand that online learning will include the following:

Clear expectations for work completion
Daily attendance
Student progress and grading expectations will mirror the expectations for students in the building.
Some classes such as Art, Music and PE may not be available at all grade levels.

When students return to the building, please keep the following in mind.

Masks are recommended but not mandatory.
Extra hand washing and cleaning/disinfecting
Daily temperature checks to be done at home prior to sending to students to school.
Elementary students will have time on the playground as weather permits.
Students will be changing classes as they have typically done.

CTC students will receive communication directly from CTC in regards to their plans for next school year.

Please note that circumstances may change that will dictate a move to blended learning (2-3 days in the building each week and 2-3 days of remote learning each week.) If that happens, we will assume that students registered for online will continue online and students registered to attend in the building will continue to attend in the building on their designated blended learning days. Parents will be able to make changes to this plan if, or when, the need arises.

Please complete one form for each of child by following the links below for the appropriate grade level(s). Forms should be completed by Monday, June 22, 2020 so that we can begin making the necessary staffing decisions to accommodate the enrollments in each program.
