Physical Science is a science course that is split up into 2 parts--Physical Science A, and Physical Science B, and each are worth half of a credit. Physical Science is a comprehensive study of the physical world including chemistry and the universe. Physical Science A will include everything from atomic structure, the periodic table, chemical reactions and bonding to the universe and stars. Physical Science B is a study of the physical world with topics such as motion, work, power, energy, waves, electricity, and force. All material is covered in order to prepare students for the Ohio Graduation Test and all state required assessments. Some lab and research technology activities are required.
There is a $6.00 fee for lab equipment, and students must receive credit for both semesters A and B to fulfill requirements.
