Another class of New Carlisle 5th Graders has kicked off DARE (Drug Abuse Resistance Education) at New Carlisle Elementary School!

In partnership with the Clark County Sheriff’s Office, New Carlisle Elementary is proud to offer DARE as part of our comprehensive program to help students make good life choices. We have Deputy Berner and Deputy Lisle at the school working with students on Tuesdays and Wednesdays.

The DARE program focuses on drug awareness education, resistance strategies, and effective communication as well as creative school culture by preventing bullying, making good choices, treating others well and being a good citizen. The deputies are easy to relate to, fun and great with the students, and the students enjoy their time in this program!
