Therapy Dog Provides Support at New Carlisle Elementary

Brenda O’Reilly, special education teacher at NCES, is helping students by bringing her therapy dog to school a few days a week! His name is Bexley, and he is a Labradoodle.

   Brenda O’Reilly, special education teacher at NCES, is helping students by bringing her therapy dog to school a few days a week! His name is Bexley, and he is a Labradoodle.  
   Bexley has been visiting school for a few weeks and the students love him.  NCES plans to utilize Bexley’s services to help calm students, give emotional support and help them cope with the stresses. Bexley, on the right, is pictured next to Maui, the therapy dog at Tecumseh Middle School.
