The “ Gold Hammer Award” is the highest honor bestowed to a student by the Industrial Technology instructor. This prestigious award has been given since 1975.
This years recipient will receive a 5,000 dollar scholarship. Ace Handyman Hardware has donated, a power tool to the winner. In addition to the money, tools, and individual plaque, the name of this years recipient will be added to the “Gold Hammer Plaque” at the high school.
To be considered for the “Gold Hammer Award”, the following criteria must be met.
Ø Their desire for quality is strong.
Ø They are students of exceptional character.
Ø They all have a high grade point average in Industrial Technology courses from their freshman year to their senior year.
