Please come to the school office with these documents and to fill out the online registration. You may also choose to fill out the online application at home on a desk top computer, laptop, Chromebook or tablet and then bring the paperwork to the school office. It can also be found on the district main website page under parent resources.Click here to access the online regisration program.
Tecumseh Local students are currently virtual but will return in-person on October 19 through a phase-in schedule. Please click here for specific information on that schedule. Just a reminder that all students must wear a mask when returning to school and should plan to bring a water bottle to school that they will leave at school for the week and bring home on Fridays to be washed and returned. Students can fill water bottles in their classrooms.
Additional Information About Park Layne Elementary
We use the PAX Good Behavior Game at Park Layne Elementary to teach students to take responsibility for their actions as part of our school-wide Positive Behavior Supports System. We really work with kids to learn to make good choices and reward them for their good choices. Students earn Hot Tickets for being respectful, responsible, peaceful, problem-solving learners. Hot Tickets are placed in a class bucket and each teacher picks a Hot Ticket Winner each week to be featured on our live morning announcements. Students get a prize and bring a note home so parents can go on YouTube and watch their child on announcements. We also have school-wide PBIS Rewards that students earn as they accumulate PAX Points as a building. Rewards include extra recess and ice cream, a Crazy Dance Party, Minute to Win It, popcorn and a movie, and more. We also use a great book called "What Should Danny Do?" to teach kids about their Power to Choose.
The Dolly Parton Imagination Library is available to all Tecumseh families living in Clark County! Students enrolled in the program receive a free book in the mail each month from birth to five years old. Click on the link at left for more information.
