MEDICATIONS AT SCHOOL

If your child needs medication administered during the school day please note the following:

· All medications that need to be given during the school day must have a written doctor's order and parent permission. This is a state law requirement.

· Medication forms are needed for students who carry inhalers/emergency medications. They are kept on file in the nurses' office. This is a state law requirement.

· Students are not to carry any medications (prescription and/or over-the counter) anywhere on school property without the proper paperwork on file in the clinic.

END OF THE SCHOOL YEAR

Please make arrangements to pick up your child's medication by your student's last day. We are unable to store medications during the summer and all remaining medications will be discarded.
