Use of Elevator

A written note from a Doctor or Athletic Trainer stating the reason and length of time the use of the elevator/wheelchair is necessary should be given to the nurse. The student will be given a pass to ride the elevator and it must be visible on the student while use of the elevator is necessary.  When student has been discharged from elevator usage, the student is to return the pass to the clinic. The student using the elevator or a wheelchair is subject to the student code of conduct with consequences for the misuse/abuse of the elevator/wheelchair.  In case of a fire/tornado drill or an actual fire/tornado, the elevator is NOT to be used. The student is to report to the mezzanine area adjacent to the elevator and wait for assistance from a staff member.
