Dear Tecumseh Local Families,
Tecumseh Local Schools is currently seeking classified substitutes to support our students and schools in a variety of roles. We offer flexible opportunities to substitute in areas such as paraprofessionals in special education classrooms, bus aides, study hall monitors, custodians, secretaries, kitchen staff, and lunchroom monitors. You can choose the positions that best fit your interests and availability.

To qualify, interested individuals should visit the Tecumseh Board of Education Office, located at 9760 West National Road in New Carlisle, Monday through Friday between 7:30 a.m. and 3:30 p.m. Applicants will need to complete a classified application and a background check; please bring a driver’s license or state ID. All classified substitutes must have a high school diploma, and some positions (including paraprofessionals, aides, and monitors) require a paraprofessional license through the Ohio Department of Education and we are happy to help guide you through that process.

Hourly rates for each position will be shared at the time of application. Substituting is also an excellent way to become familiar with our district, showcase your skills and work ethic, and be considered for future full-time opportunities should they become available.
