Child Nutrition Services

Tecumseh Local Schools is incredibly happy to announce that, during the 2025-26 school year, the District will offer FREE meals (both breakfast and lunch) to all students through a federal program called the Community Eligibility Provision (CEP program).

We recognize that proper nutrition is a cornerstone of academic success and overall well-being. Providing students with the essential nutrients they need supports healthy growth, enhances focus and energy, and contributes to improved attendance and engagement in the classroom. We encourage families to take advantage of our School Nutrition Program, which offers delicious, balanced, and FREE breakfast and lunch options for all students in kindergarten through 12th grade.

Together, we can ensure that every student is ready to thrive academically and physically each day!

Please note, no application is required for free or reduced lunch for K-12 students during the 2024-2025 school year. However, preschool families must complete a paper application. Thank you for your prompt attention to these matters! School meals offer students low-fat milk, fruits and vegetables, proteins, whole grains and must meet strict limits on portion size, calories, sodium and saturated fat. We are always working to offer Tecumseh students healthier and better-tasting options. Students MUST take at least ONE fruit or vegetable serving as part of their breakfast and lunch tray.
