Program Highlights @ THS

This week we are going to highlight some of the electives and programs we offer at Tecumseh High School.

Industrial Technology- Manufacturing

Students interested in manufacturing should consider registering for Manufacturing Foundations and Laser Fundamentals. Both of these courses are offered in-house and taught by Industrial Technology Teacher, Mr. Joel Drake.

Students will complete OHSA Training and interact with a wide range of manufacturing concepts as part of the manufacturing course. Additionally, they will investigate career pathways, work on interviewing skills, and discuss professional image and develop a resume and cover letter.

The Laser Fundamentals course allows students to work with laster engravers/cutters, 3-D Printers, and CNC Routers to complete projects.

Both of these courses represent great opportunities for students interested in pursuing a career in manufacturing.
