School News and Updates

End of the 3rd Quarter: a reminder to parents and students that the Third Quarter ends Friday, March 13, 2026.

ACT for Juniors: On March 17, 2026 Tecumseh High School will be administering the ACT to all Juniors as required by Ohio law. Juniors should report at their normal time. They will be dismissed once all students have completed the test, approximately 11:30.

Students in grades 9, 10, and 12 WILL NOT REPORT on this day. They will be assigned virtual lessons to complete at home.

2026-2027 Student Scheduling

Students in grades 9 -11 met with School Counselors this past week to discuss scheduling for the 2026-2027 school year. We want to encourage parents to review course options with their students. If you have questions about specific courses or the scheduling process please contact your students School Counselor.

Final Forms:
  • A reminder that students who do not have completed Final Forms (both Parent and Student) will not be permitted to attend field trips or school dances.

Student Fees: a reminder that student fees must be paid in order for students to participate in athletics and extracurriculars, this includes field trips and school dances- this includes Prom which will be held in April.

Program Highlights @ THS

This week we are going to highlight some of the electives and programs we offer at Tecumseh High School.

Business

Tecumseh High School offers several CCP Business Courses in house through Clark State. Students interested in pursuing business, finance, entrepreneurship, etc. as a major in college are encouraged to enroll in these courses.

Academic and School Counselor Corner

Colleges visited THS this week:

  • Capital University
Students should contact Ms. Talley if they would like to meet with either of these schools.

College Credit Plus: parents and students that were unable to attend either of the state required CCP Meetings need to contact their students counselor to learn about options to complete this requirement.

ACT Test:
The next ACT will be administered on April 11, 2026. Registration deadline is March 6, 2026. Late Registration deadline is March 24, 2026. CLICK HERE to register
