Message from Principal Oakes

The calendar has officially turned to August! While we want our students to continue enjoying their summer we do encourage everyone to make note of important dates and information. This will help students and parents to be ready for that first day of school on August 20, 2025!

School News and Updates

Final Forms:
  • Students will need to have Final Forms completed in order to pick up their schedule, receive their chromebook, purchase a parking tag, make schedule changes, etc.

Student Schedule Pick-Up
  • Students in grades 10 -12 can pick up their schedules on August 11 or August 13 in the main office.

Student Parking
  • Information regarding student parking tags can be accessed on the Tecumseh High School webpage under Resources. Students must have a THS Parking Tag in order to access and use the student parking lot.

Open House
  • Tecumseh High School Open House will be Monday, August 18, 2025 from 5:30 pm - 7:00 pm. This will be an opportunity for students and parents/guardians to meet teachers and walk their schedule before the new school year begins.

Important Reminders

Office Hours:
The main office is now open 8:00 am - 3:30 pm each day.

School Supplies:
For THS supply lists, please have your student check their Google Classrooms. Needed supplies will be posted by teachers directly at the start of the school year.

Freshman Orientation- Class of 2029

Transportation for Orientation

Transportation will be available for freshman. The Transportation Department will be sending out pick-up times and locations before the end of this week.

College Application Reminder:

  • Many colleges and universities begin accepting applications August 1. Incoming Seniors should be working to complete the Common App as part of this process. If you have questions or concerns please contact Ms. Talley.

ACT Test:
The next ACT will be administered on September 6, 2025. Students must registered by August 1, 2025. CLICK HERE to register

SAT Test:
The next SAT will be administered on August 23, 2025. Students must register by August 8, 2025. CLICK HERE to register
